Earlier this morning at approximately 11am a bank robbery occurred at a Wells Fargo in West Seattle. Police chased down the suspect eventually blocking his car at 1st and Spring st. downtown. When the suspect refused to exit the car and even displayed a handgun, the Police opened fire. The man was shot in the neck and is currently in intensive care.
"I was walking down the street. I've only been here a couple of days," said a downtown tourist from England. "I thought they were shooting a movie. When I see this in the movies, I thought it was overkill. I thought it was Hollywood, but that's just America."
Wow, quite the excitement for a Tuesday morning.
