Yet more construction on the way for our evergrowing Belltown. It looks like two 440 foot high rise towers are on their way on the corner of 2nd ave. and Virginia st. The first tower will be a 38-story building with 139 hotel rooms, 186 residences above them, street-level shops and parking for 294 vehicles.
The second tower, located across the street to the north, will mirror the first in design, however only contain residences and street-level retail.
Both of the buildings are being developed by The Justen Co. LLC of Seattle and Columbia West Properties Inc. of Bellevue. Community members are encouraged to attend a meeting with the city's Design Review Board who will determine whether the developers have complied with all guidelines. The meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. at Seattle City Hall, 600 Fourth Ave., Room L280.
