New condo owners undergo legal dispute between contractor and developer

Owners of condos within Mosler Lofts in Belltown are caught up in a dispute involving general contractor JE Dunn Northwest who filed a lien against the lofts claiming that developer Belltown Development Partners owed $6.7 million for the project. Belltown Development Partners then responded with a lawsuit accusing JE Dunn of breach of contract for substantial and costly delays.

The $6.7 million lien would prevent owners from selling their units or using them as collateral for loans.

Doesn't sound like fun stuff at all. Lets hope they resolve this dispute as fast as possible.
