Swing by Roq la Rue gallery this evening from 6-9 pm for cupcakes and beer. The gallery is celebrating 10 years of dedicating the business to artists who once lived below the radar screen, including underground comic illustrators, neo-surrealists and assorted other counterculture, retro-chic characters.
At tonights celebration visitors will preview the "10th Anniversary Group Show," including works by Mark Ryden, Marion Peck, Femke Hiemstra, Scott Musgrove, Lisa Petrucci, Shag and many others. The exhibition continues through Aug. 2, then the gallery will close for remodeling through the rest of August.
