Coldest June in 100 years has Belltowners pouting

The coldest June in more than a century is right! Take a stroll through Belltown and you will notice empty restaurant patios and depressed looking pedestrians with wool coats. Let's face it, this weather sucks!

We want to take sunny strolls in the sculpture park and sip cold happy hour beers on patios! We're tired of staring blankly out of our apartment windows at streets drenched with rain wishing we could go outside and play.

The National Weather Service says temperatures should climb to about 70 by the end of this week but are expected to drop back to around 60 by Sunday. So, I guess that's kind of good news. At least you can leave your coat at home for a while.
