Is Belltown's nightlife scene getting too uptight?

After the shooting at Belltown'sTabella the concern for safety in clubs in understandable. But are clubs going overboard? I snapped a photo of Toi's sign hanging in the window and couldn't help but feel like it was a bit intense. I don't wear baseball caps or baggy pants personally, but what if I did? Does that mean I'm bound to shoot someone? I think it's a little discriminating personally.

On a side note, have you ever actually seen a woman with a grill? Just wondering.

Just because you wear baggy pants or ball caps, or god forbid a "grill," doesn't mean you're going to shoot someone, and it isn't meant to portray that everyone who does will be a violent felon. What it does provide is a guideline for admission, and if you do not wish to meet the minimum standard for a particular venue, then there are other venues that will gladly accept you and your money the way you are dressed. And yes, there are females with grillz (ugh, shudder...).
