Poor Crocodile Cafe. A potential deal to purchase the Crocodile Cafe has apparently fallen through.
A few weeks after the rock club suddenly closed, Groupee Inc. applied for the Crocodile's liquor license. Many took it as a sign that Groupee was purchasing the Crocodile, but Groupee's Lori Hope would not confirm or deny the speculations.
On Monday however, Anne Radford of the Washington State Liquor Control Board announced that Groupee Venues withdrew their liquor-license application.
It looks like there is no hope in the immediate future for someone taking over the once beloved Seattle rock club afterall.
Bummer.
