Belltown's own Lino Tagliapietra is a glass-blowing artist who is in large part responsible for the explosion of glass art in the Northwest. Tagliapietra came to the United States in the 1970's wanting to contribute to the rising international interest in studio glass and was instantly hooked on the Northwest. His office/shipping warehouse is located in the heart of Belltown. You just might be living right around the corner from a modern day maestro.
